The situation in Turkey is under full control after the failed military coup attempt in the country, the Hurriyet newspaper reported July 17.
Reportedly, the authorities have restored the control throughout the whole territory of Turkey.
Turkish leadership informed about a military coup attempt in the country July 15 in the evening. The servicemen, for their part, announced about seizing the power. The rebelling servicemen started to surrender July 16 in the morning. Turkish authorities said that the coup attempt has failed.
Turkish law enforcement bodies have already arrested 2,800 people. As many as 161 people were killed as a result of the coup attempt, according to the latest reports.
