Domestic flights have been cancelled in Turkey’s Igdir province in the east of the country, the Turkish media reported Dec. 21.
The flights were cancelled due to thick fog observed since morning.
No exact date for the flights’ resumption is reported.
Visibility in the province decreased to 20 meters due to the thick fog.
The fog also caused several road accidents in the province Dec. 21, leaving five people dead and 12 wounded.
