Over the past 24 hours, 19 PKK terrorists were eliminated in Turkey, Turkish media reported citing a source in the General Staff of the country.
The terrorists were eliminated as part of operations carried out in the southeastern provinces, reports said.
"Ten PKK terrorists were eliminated in Sirnak Province, eight in Diyarbakir and Batman, and one in Gaziantep Province," Turkish media reported.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted more than 25 years, claiming more than 40,000 lives.
The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
