18:19 (GMT +4) There are 12 families under the rubble of the collapsed building in Istanbul. According to preliminary reports, it was a new building.
One person died as a result of the collapse, while one was saved.
The causes of the incident are not reported.
17:32 (GMT +4) A six-story residential building collapsed in Istanbul, Trend reports via Turkish media.
Reports noted that there are people left under the rubble.
Teams of firefighters and rescuers arrived at the scene.
Presently, the number of people stuck under the rubble is unknown.
So far, one person has been saved from under the rubble.
