The export of building materials (cement) in Turkey increased by 18.9 percent from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $2.221 billion , the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly told Trend.
“The share of export of building materials for the reporting period amounted to 2.2 percent of Turkey’s total export,” the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
"In September 2019, export of building materials increased by 25.1 percent compared to September 2018 and reached $304.624 million, which is 2.2 percent of total exports in September 2019," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
“The export of building materials increased by 16.5 percent and reached $3.406 billion during the period from September 2018 to September 2019 compared to the period from September 2017 to September 2018,” the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent and reached $32.181 billion in September 2019 compared to September 2018.
From January to September 2019, Turkey’s total trade turnover reached $286.419 billion.
