Turkey's exports of agricultural products to Turkmenistan decreases

Turkey's exports of vegetables, fruits, as well as citruses to Turkmenistan amounted to 3,078 tons in November 2019, having decreased by 37 percent compared to November 2019, Trend report referring to Turkey's Union of Exporters of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables.

In November 2019, Turkey's income from exports of vegetables, fruits, as well as citruses to Turkmenistan exceeded $2.5 million, having decreased by 44 percent compared to November 2018.

Moreover, in November 2019, Turkey exported 1,486 tons of fruit to Turkmenistan, which is 51 percent less compared to November 2018. Turkey's income from fruit exports to Turkmenistan amounted to over $1.3 million in November 2019, having decreased by 57 percent compared to November 2018.

According to the union, in November 2019, Turkey exported 1,589 tons of citruses to Turkmenistan, which is 16 percent less compared to November 2018. Thus, Turkey's income from exports of citrus fruits to Turkmenistan decreased by 12 percent, compared to November 2018, and amounted to over $1.1 million.

In the reporting month, export of Turkish fruits, vegetables and citrus fruits increased by 19 percent compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to 665,625 tons.

In November 2019, Turkey's income from exports of fruits, vegetables and citrus fruits increased by 11 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2018 and amounted to $330.9 million.

For the reporting period, 83,361 tons of fruits were exported from Turkey, which is 3 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.

Turkey’s income from fruit exports grew by 3 percent compared to the last year and amounted to $77 million.

Over the mentioned period, the export of vegetables from Turkey increased by 20 percent compared to last year, amounting to 206,013 tons.

In November 2019, vegetables worth $73.9 million were exported from Turkey, which is 23 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.

During this month, Turkey exported 376,251 tons of citrus fruits, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.

In November 2019, citrus fruits worth $180 million were exported from Turkey, which is 8 percent more compared to the same month of 2018.
