The volume of gasoil transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to 81,242 tons from January through February 2020, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on March 30.
Over the reporting period, the volume of gasoil transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 11,984 tons. Meanwhile, 69,258 tons of gasoil were transshipped through the Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries.
From January 2020 through February 2020, gasoil transshipment by transit was not carried out through Turkish ports.
From January through February 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 62.4 million tons.
During this period, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 4.5 million tons. Meanwhile, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports by ships flying their countries' flag amounted to 2.6 million tons, and flying the flags of other countries – 55.2 million tons.
Over the mentioned period, 12.5 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish ports in transit.
In February 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports amounted to 29.5 million tons. The volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.1 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports by ships flying their countries' flags amounted to 1.1 million tons in February 2020, and flying the flags of other countries – 26.1 million tons.
In February 2020, 6.3 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish ports.
