Iranian citizens purchased 3,168 real estate properties in Turkey from January through July 2020, which is 502 more compared to the same period of last year, the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadaster told Trend on August 26.
Citizens of Iran purchased 540 real estate properties in Turkey in July 2020, which is an increase of 76 properties compared to the same month of 2019.
As many as 229,357 real estate properties were sold in Turkey in July 2020, which is a growth of 124.3 percent compared to July last year.
According to the directorate, 2,741 real estate properties were sold to foreigners in Turkey in July 2020, which is by 34.6 percent decrease in comparison to July 2019.
Iranian citizens purchased 2,628 real estate properties in Turkey in the first half of 2020, which is 426 properties more compared to the same period of 2019.
