Turkey’s export of jewelry and precious stones to Kazakhstan increased by 31.96 percent in the past nine months of 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, having topped $5.83 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, in September 2020, Turkey’s export of jewelry and precious stones to Kazakhstan surged two times compared to the same month of last year, reaching $2.53 million.
The export of Turkish jewelry and precious stones made up 2.3 percent of the country’s total export from January through September 2020.
Export of jewelry and precious stones from Turkey to international markets slightly topped $314.9 million in September 2020, which is 28.2 percent less compared to the same month of 2019.
In September of this year, Turkey’s export of jewelry and precious stones to international markets amounted to 2.1 percent of the country’s total export.
During the last twelve months, from September 2019 through September 2020, Turkey exported jewelry and precious stones worth $3.3 billion.
