Exports of electrical goods from Turkey to Uzbekistan rose in the first five months of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, and this indicator amounted to over $55.3 million, thus having grown by 2.4 times year on year.
Turkey's electrical goods export to Uzbekistan stood at $92.6 million in May 2021, which is an increase of 1.6 times compared to the same month of last year.
Overall, Turkey boosted the export of electrical goods by 46.7 percent to $5.57 billion in the first five months of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.
Turkey’s exports of electrical goods in May 2021 made up $1.1 billion, which is 65.5 percent more compared to May 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from May 2020 through May 2021), Turkish exports of electrical goods totaled over $12.8 billion.
