Iranian citizens purchased 4,600 real estate properties in Turkey from January through August 2021, which is 792 properties more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.
In August 2021, Iranian citizens purchased 911 real estate properties in Turkey, which is 271 properties more compared to August 2020, the directorate said.
As reported, 141,400 properties were sold in Turkey in August of this year, down 17 percent on annual basis.
In the same month, foreigners purchased 5,866 properties in Turkey, an increase of 50.7 percent on annual basis.
