Ministry discloses volume of cargo transported via Turkish ports from Netherlands

Some 6.8 million tons of cargo from the Netherlands were transported through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Dec. 10.

Thus, 10,765 tons of cargo from the Netherlands were delivered to the ports by ships flying the Turkish flag while 6.6 million tons by ships flying the flags of other countries.

The ships flying the flag of the Netherlands delivered 210,344 tons of cargo to the Turkish ports during the reporting period.

Some 174,918 tons of cargo from the Netherlands were transited through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021.

Around 318.9 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021.

During the reporting period, 25.02 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag.

Around 293.9 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the flags of other countries through the Turkish ports from January through October 2021.

Moreover, 63.8 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports during the reporting period.

Some 32.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in October 2021.

Around 2.4 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag while 30.04 million tons by ships flying the flags of other countries in October 2021.

Some 6.7 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in October 2021.
