Iranian citizens purchased 10,056 houses in Turkey in 2021, which is by 2,867 houses more compared to 2020, the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadaster told Trend.
Citizens of Iran purchased 1,462 houses in Turkey in December 2021, which is 698 more compared to December 2020.
Meanwhile, 1.4 million houses were sold in Turkey in 2021, which is 0.5 percent less compared to 2020.
According to the directorate, 226,503 houses were sold in Turkey in December 2021, which is 1.1 times more than in December 2020.
Foreigners bought 58,576 houses in Turkey in 2021, which is 43.5 percent more than in 2020.
