BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The Turkish port of Canakkale received 109 ships in 1Q2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, 48 of the total number of ships accepted by the port were under the flag of Turkey, 61 - were under the flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey received 4,079 ships in March 2022.
A total of 1,210 ships accepted by the ports were under the flag of Turkey, and 2,869 were under the flags of other countries.
Turkish ports received 11,946 ships from January through March 2022.
The number of 3,533 ships accepted by Turkish ports was under the flag of Turkey, and 8,413 were under the flags of other countries during this period.
According to the results for 2021, the ports of Turkey received 51,199 ships, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 ships received by Turkish ports were under the flags of other countries.
