BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. The export of ready-made clothing from Türkiye to Turkmenistan decreased by 9.7 percent and amounted to $12.7 million from January through September 2023, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
The data from the Turkish Ministry of Trade shows that Turkish exports of ready-made clothing to Turkmenistan amounted to $1.6 million in September, which is 11.9 percent less than in the same month of 2022.
In addition, Turkish exports of ready-made clothing decreased by 7.9 percent and amounted to $14.9 billion from January through September 2023, year-on-year.
"Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.7 billion in September of this year, which is 12.8 percent less than in September last year," the ministry said.
In general, Türkiye has exported ready-made clothing worth $20 billion over the past 12 months (from September 2022 through September 2023).
