BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The value of Turkish auto industry exports to Iran increased by 2.9 percent year on year from January to September 2023 (up to $122.3 million), Turkish Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, this indicator fell by 31.8 percent to $12.1 million in September 2023 when compared to the same month in 2022.
Overall, Turkish auto sector exports to other countries climbed by 14.8% year on year to $25.6 billion during January to September 2023.
In September of this year, Türkiye exported car sector items worth $2.8 billion to international markets, a 2.6 percent increase year on year.
Furthermore, the country exported $34.3 billion in car sector products in the previous 12 months (from September 2022 to September 2023).
