Türkiye boosts exports of electrical equipment to Kyrgyzstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. Türkiye's exports of electrical equipment to Kyrgyzstan rose 40.1 percent year-on-year to $6.5 million from January through February 2024, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Trade Ministry.

"Türkiye exported $4.5 million worth of electrical equipment to Kyrgyzstan in February this year, which is 1.7 times more than in February last year," the statement from the ministry reads.

Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of electrical equipment decreased by 1 percent from January through February 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $1.3 billion.

In February this year, Türkiye exported $2.5 billion worth of electrical equipment, which was 1 percent more than in February last year.

To note, Türkiye exported $16.2 billion worth of electrical equipment in the last 12 months (from February 2023 through February 2024).
