BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Türkiye increased its chemical exports to Georgia from January through March 2024 by 2 percent to $109.7 million compared to the same period last year, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“Turkish chemical exports to Georgia in March 2024 decreased by 23.6 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $41.7 million," the statement of the ministry reads.
Additionally, Türkiye increased its exports of chemical products by 7.7 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period last year, bringing them to $8 billion.
Besides, Türkiye's chemical exports to the world markets in March 2024 increased by 5.7 percent compared to the same month in 2023 reaching $3 billion.
To note, Türkiye exported $31.1 billion worth of chemical products over the past 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
