BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. The United States is preparing for a major series of attacks on Israel from Iran in the coming days, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council John Kirby said at an online briefing, Trend reports.
"We share the same concerns and expectations as our Israeli colleagues that this will happen, perhaps this week. We continue to monitor this very closely", he said.
Kirby added at the moment it is difficult to say for sure whether the attack will come from Iran or its proxy, what it might look like. "But we have to be prepared for what could be a significant series of attacks, so we have increased our force presence and our capabilities in the region in the last few days", he noted.
