From January to October 2015, some 35.03 million tons of oil and gas condensate was extracted in Azerbaijan, which is two percent less than the same period last year, according to a report issued by Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.
In 2014, Azerbaijan produced 41.9 million tons of oil and gas condensate, compared to 43.1 million tons in 2013.
Azerbaijan's main oil production accounts for the 'Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli' block of oil and gas fields and the 'Shah Deniz' gas condensate field, which are developed jointly with foreign partners.
Extraction of marketable gas in Azerbaijan, according to the Statistics Committee, stood at 16.39 billion cubic meters in January-October, or 6.2 percent more than the same period 2014.
The marketable gas extraction in the country in 2014 amounted to 18.7 billion cubic meters, compared to 17.9 billion cubic meters in 2013.
