Vehicles transported 21.44 million tons of cargo on the territory of Azerbaijan in January-July 2014, which is 8.08 percent less than in the same period of last year, according to the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
The exports of goods during this period amounted to about 16.7 million tons, imports - about 4.8 million tons, according to the report.
Around 92,130 tons of cargo was exported by ships in January-July, 1.48 million tons by trains, 309,950 tons by vehicles, 49,580 tons by aircraft and 14.74 million tons by stationary vehicles.
Some 1.09 million tons of cargo was imported to Azerbaijan by ships, 2.5 million tons by trains, more than 1.15 million tons by vehicles, 6,640 tons of cargo by aircraft during this period.
