A new bank was established in Tajikistan on January 3, Avesta.tj agency reported referring to the country's National Bank's press-service on January 4.
The new Spitamen Bank was created on the basis of Spitamen Capital micro financial organization.
This newly created financial institution got a license for carrying out bank operations in national and foreign currency.
Currently there are 17 acting banks in the country.
