The U.S Congress decided to remove the restriction on the military aid to Uzbekistan, imposed 7 years ago, KyrTAG reported.
The restrictions were imposed because of worsening the situation with human rights in the Central Asian country.
The proposal of removing the restrictions was made by U.S President Barak Obama's administration in early Sept. 2011.
The Congress imposed the restriction on the military aid to Uzbekistan in 2004. They were aimed to improve the situation with human rights in the country and political reformations.
