California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was presented an Azerbaijani carpet with his portrait.
Schwarzenegger met with the staff of the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los Angeles, who presented the governor with a handmade carpet by Mushfig Babayev.
During the meeting, Consul General Elin Suleymanov and Consul Elman Abdullayev thanked Schwarzenegger for his annual Independence Day greetings.
In turn, Schwarzenegger praised Azerbaijan's contribution to intercultural dialogue and expressed hope that Washington will build relations with Azerbaijan.
