Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi said Sunday he is preparing for a long war and vowed to defeat the Western nations enforcing a United Nations-sanctioned no-fly zone over the North African country, dpa reported.
"We are getting ready for a long, glorious war," Gaddafi said in an audio message broadcast on state television.
"We will defeat you. We are fighting on our land, defending our honour," he said, describing Western nations as "monsters and criminals."
"You will fall just like Hitler fell," he warned. "All tyrants fall."
