The National Transitional Council, who led the revolution against Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's regime, sent more troops to the outskirts of the city of Bani Walid ,Al Jazeera reported.
"This step was taken after clashes occurred between anti-Gaddafi forces and supporter of ousted Col. Gaddafi yesterday evening," spokesman for rebels said. "Gaddafi forces' sudden attack on rebels was defeated."
