A Palestinian teenager, shot and critically wounded on Friday when Israeli settlers opened fire on him in a village near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, died in hospital Saturday morning, according to medical sources.
The teenager, Yousef Ikhlail, 15, was shot when over 100 settlers from Bat Aiyn entered the village of Kirbat Safa, north of Hebron, and fired at local residents. Another Palestinian was lightly wounded, DPA reported.
It was the second fatal shooting in the West Bank by Jewish settlers this week. Settlers on Thursday shot and killed another Palestinian teenager near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
No arrests have yet been made in either case.
