At least two people died and 20 others injured after parts of a roof of a bazaar in Zonguldak collapse following heavy snow, the governor said, Today's Zaman reported.
Zonguldak Governor Erol Ayyıldız told reporters that Gungor Durmuş (52) and Fatma Sarıoglu (44) died following the incident and 18 wounded people are currently being treated in Zonguldak Ataturk State Hospital while two injured people are in Zonguldak Karaelmas University Hospital.
He said the situation of wounded people are not life-critical. He added that units will start clearing the rubble Thursday morning to determine the damage and the those who are responsible for the incident, if any.
