Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian has been invited to Turkey to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) member countries, to be held in Istanbul on June 26, the Zaman newspaper reported.
According to the report, Armenian Foreign Ministry has not yet officially confirmed acceptance of the invitation. However, it was recalled that previously Nalbandian attended such a meeting, which was also held in Istanbul.
In November 2008, Nalbandian paid a one-day visit to Istanbul as BSEC Acting Chairperson.
In turn, the then Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan at the invitation of the Armenian colleague also attended a summit of foreign ministers of BSEC member countries, held in Yerevan in 2009, the Zaman newspaper reported.
