It is in Azerbaijan's interest to develop cooperation with Bulgaria not only in the energy sector, but also in the sectors of agriculture, education and healthcare, where Bulgaria has broad experience, Azerbaijan's Ambassador in Sofia Emil Kerimov told journalists, Standart newspaper reported Thursday.
In his words, Bulgaria has the potential to attract many Azeri investors in the future.
The oncoming fourth session of the Bulgarian-Azeri governmental committee for economic cooperation, which will take place in Baku later this year, will contribute to the development of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
"Cultural cooperation is also very important for the relations between our two countries," Ambassador Kerimov said further.
"A world forum for an intercultural dialogue will take place in Baku in April 7-9 under the auspices of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliev," he added.
World leaders, intellectuals and public figures will take part in the forum, at which Bulgaria will be represented by a delegation led by Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov.
