From September 1, additional population in Georgia can benefit from free insurance. In general, insurance policies have additionally been distributed to more than a million people.
Under the state program of health insurance citizens will be reimbursed the cost of the ambulance service and doctors, outpatient treatment, diagnosis, planning and emergency surgery and other hospital services.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment up to 900,000 people use public insurance. From September 1, some 2.4 million people, that is, every other citizen, will be insured
These are pensioners, students, children under five, people with disabilities.
