In the case of victory in the local elections, Georgia's United National Movement party promises the population a reduction in gas and fuel rates.

In accordance with its estimates, by exempting gasoline and gas from excise taxes, tariffs will be lower in the first case by 25 tetri (cents) ($ 1 = 1.76 lari), and in the second by eight tetri.

It's part of the pre-election program, which the former ruling party introduced at the Sports Palace on May 8, officially kicking off the campaign.

Another promise of the National Movement - a 5 percent cut in income tax.

The pre-election program also provides the decriminalization of economic crimes. The party stated it will strengthen the trust between government and business.

Furthermore, the United National Movement promises to make public transport comfortable and affordable.
