The Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili sent a request to the country's parliament with regard to his speech at the next plenary session.

"We have already sent a formal letter to the parliament requesting to include the Georgian president's address to the next plenary session's agenda," the president aide, Giorgi Kverenchkhiladze told reporters Nov. 7.

Margvelashvili will dedicate his address to the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Georgia, and will undertake the monitoring of this process.

Kverenchkhiladze said the president has a right to appeal to the parliament once a year.

He added that the president also sent a necessary application to the government office.

Margvelashvili intends to take part in a meeting of the government, Kverenchkhiladze said.
