БАКУ /Trend/ - The Prosecutor's Office of Istanbul demanded to arrest 18 journalists for 7.5 years, Anadolu reported.
The journalists are accused of terrorism propaganda and supporting a terrorist organization DHKP-C.
The DHKP-C is responsible for terrorist acts committed in May 2013 in the city of Reyhanli of Turkey's Hatay province, which killed 46 and injured 155.
The DHKP-C members have also carried out a terrorist attack in the US embassy in Ankara, killing a security guard of the embassy and injuring another person.
On March 31, the terrorist group's members took the attorney Selim Kiraz as a hostage in the Justice Palace in Istanbul.
Kiraz, who suffered five bullet wounds during a special operation to free him, died in hospital.
