The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the country's public holiday - Birthday of Queen, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"We attach great importance to relationship between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom. In this sense, expansion of bilateral relations and strengthening of friendly ties on the ground of mutually beneficial co-op in numerous fields are especially delightful.
I am sure that we will make further efforts to continue multi-faceted contacts and joint works successfully."
The Azerbaijani leader wished Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II health and successes in her activity and the friendly people of the United Kingdom - peace and prosperity.
