On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and the OIC General Secretariat jointly plan to hold an international scientific conference "Dialogue between Civilizations: A view from Azerbaijan" on November 11-12 in Baku, the press service of Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan reported.
The conference, which is supposed to be attended by the OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, as well as many foreign and local scientific figures, will discuss topics such as the confessional and cultural diversity, the experience of Azerbaijan in this regard, the problems of inter-confessional dialogue and Islamic geopolitics.
