The Scandinavian operator TeliaSonera's net income from sales on the Azerbaijani market declined by 13 percent in January-September compared to the same period of 2010, the company reported.
Based on the report, its net revenues decl
ined by 0.361 million crons (SEK) - from 2.882 million SEK to 2.521 million SEK.
Net sales in local currency terms fell by 2.1 percent in January-September.
The income volume prior to the interest payments, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA margin) in Azerbaijan have declined due to declining revenues and increasing out-of-network-traffic.
Fintur Holdings B. V, in which TeliaSonera owns 74 percent, owns stakes in Azerbaijan's mobile operator Azercell.
