Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 6 / Trend H. Valiyev /

The network of CDMA base stations in CATEL company will be integrated with the network infrastructure of Aztelekom and "Baku Telephone Communications" production associations, Aztelekom told Trend on Monday.

Today, the integration of network infrastructure of the operators is under consideration. The work in this direction will be initiated after all parties reach the agreement.

CATEL wireless network is deployed in Baku, the Apsheron Peninsula and some regions of the country. It is envisaged that CATEL base stations, located in Baku, will be integrated with a network of "Baku Telephone Communication" and with a network of Aztelekom in the regions.

CATEL network can be restored after the integration of the operators' infrastructure.

CATEL has recorded problems since April 1, leading to the shutdown of a network of subscribers operating in the CDMA standard (with index numbers 417, 418 and 415, as well as the number of mobile network Fonex, starting with the zoning code 040).

The total number of CATEL subscribers is about 70,000, of which about 60,000 are subscribers of wireless communication standard CDMA.
