Forum of EU Eastern Partnership to be held in Tbilisi

An EU Eastern Partnership forum will be held under the auspices of the State Minister for European Integration and the Polish Institute for the Study of the East in Tbilisi, on March 23. The event will be opened by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze.

An EU Eastern Partnership forum will be held under the auspices of the State Minister for European Integration and the Polish Institute for the Study of the East in Tbilisi, on March 23. The event will be opened by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze.

Representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the member states and the countries of the Eastern Partnership which includes Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia and Ukraine, NGOs, international media, the business community and independent experts will participate at the event.

The Eastern Partnership is a mechanism for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the EU and countries included in the partnership which was founded in 2009. The initiative proposes new opportunities to deepen economic integration and political rapprochement with the EU to East European countries.
