The threat that Iran poses is to the whole world, USA Charge d'Affaires in Azerbaijan Adam Sterling told journalists on Sunday.
"As a general rule, our governments talk about threat that Iran poses very often and let me stress that the threat that Iran poses is to the whole world", he said.
According to him, U.S. particularly see the nuclear program of Iran and also its support for terrorism. "Of course that threat is particularly to countries that border with Iran", Sterling added.
Talking about the arrest of two Azerbaijani poets, Sterling said that United States are of course reading about this with great interest, "but that is a bilateral matter between Azerbaijan and Iran, and the U.S is not involved in it".
