Committed to the principles of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Nar Mobile puts forward another charity initiative. International Week of the Deaf marked traditionally at the global level on the last week of September remains in the focus of attention of Nar Mobile management.
Tapdıq Khalıqov, Chair of Azerbaijan Deaf Committee welcomed the guests on the reception organised by the Committee and dedicated to the International Deaf Day. The 1st Deputy and other speakers pointed to the importance of this date and expressed their gratitude to "Nar Mobile" for its support. Representatives of Nar Mobile have gifted DVDs featuring video courses on how to use computers with pre-installed apps designed by the mobile operator specifically for hearing-impaired people. Highlighting the importance of efforts aimed at the inclusiveness of people with limited hearing ability in the society, Nigar Arpadarai, Head PR and Corporate Communications has described amenities brought by video courses on computer skills.
It should be noted that such video courses are important not only to get the people with limited hearing and speaking abilities prepared, but also to open up wider opportunities for their full and comfortable adaptation to the office environment. Lecturing on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and other main computer apps, such courses will help them directly to get basic knowledge on computer technologies.
Taking serious steps to integrate hearing-impaired citizens into the society, Nar Mobile has continued to bring its contribution to the festive mood in the Azerbaijani Deaf Society on this memorable day.
