Ambassador for the 2019 World Championship in Baku and multiple world champion Yana Batyrshina held an open master class for gymnastics enthusiasts on the sidelines of the 37th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, Trend reports referring to the website of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF).
As expected, the appearance of the Honored Master of Sports of Russia in the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku was a cause for excitement among the local public. Over two dozen future gymnasts, together with their parents, were impatiently waiting for the guest.
At the beginning of the master class, Batyrshina held a warm-up together with young gymnasts. Then each of the participants demonstrated their skills in handling such gymnastics apparatus as a ball, a hoop, and a ribbon.
Afterwards, Batyrshina showed the young gymnasts how to perform the so-called “Batyrshina’s jump”. She noted that the young gymnasts have great potential, and said that a bright future awaits them.
Following the meeting, Batyrshina was photographed with each of the participants in the master class, as well as with their parents.
