BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. Armenia is ready to conclude a peace agreement with Azerbaijan on the basis of the agreements reached in Prague, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said, Trend reports, citing Armenian media.

Meanwhile, following the results of the Prague meeting (held on October 6, 2022), an agreement was reached that Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize their territorial integrity on the basis of the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration.

This is stated in a statement following the quadripartite meeting of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev with the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Prague.

As noted, Azerbaijan and Armenia, reaffirmed their commitment to the UN Charter and the Almaty Declaration of 1991, according to which both countries recognize the territorial integrity and sovereignty of each other.

Also, the parties confirmed that this will become the basis for the work of the commissions on the delimitation of the border, and their next meeting of the commissions will be held in Brussels at the end of October.

In fact, this means that Karabakh has once again been confirmed as an integral part of Azerbaijan. Recognizing sovereignty, Armenia recognizes the power of Azerbaijan over Karabakh.
