BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 11. C4IR Azerbaijan and Binance have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), Trend reports.
The signing took place within the framework of the Chain Reaction 2024 forum.
C4IR Azerbaijan Executive Director Fariz Jafarov and Head of Regional Markets at Binance Vishal Sacheendran signed the Memorandum.
This partnership is a significant step toward providing Azerbaijani youth and professionals with advanced knowledge in web3, blockchain, and related technologies.
Within the framework of the memorandum, Binance Academy and their strategic educational partner, Blockchain and AI Technology Center Binance, will collaborate with Azerbaijani universities through its Global University Outreach Program (GUOP).
This cooperation includes activities such as the development of curricula, lectures by industry experts, and joint seminars for educators.
Additionally, Binance Academy will offer accredited online courses covering topics such as blockchain, NFTs, and the metaverse, which will be available in both Azerbaijani and English.
"Our partnership demonstrates our commitment to advancing education and industry in the country. Together, we will focus on key initiatives to foster innovation and growth in blockchain and digital assets. Our goal is to equip students and professionals with the skills needed for the digital economy.
We are excited to support localized educational programs to raise awareness and drive blockchain initiatives in Azerbaijan, providing valuable opportunities for learning and innovation in web3 and blockchain technology," Sacheendran said, commenting on the issue.
To note, the second day of the Chain Reaction 2024 forum has started, with topics on the agenda such as blockchain, Web3, artificial intelligence, and digital assets.
Key events for the day include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between C4IR Azerbaijan and Binance, as well as panel discussions on subjects like "Innovation as a Culture," "Cyber Vulnerability: Is it the biggest risk for founders?" and "Should centralized financial institutions embrace or fear digital assets?"
Presentations will also cover "Lessons learned from issuing a CHF 100 million digital bond" and "Is bitcoin mining still worth it after the halving?" topics.
