Chairman of Supreme Medjlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) Vasif Talybov met with Turkish deputy head of department for religion affairs Fikret Karaman. Trends regional correspondent reports that in the course of the meeting officials regarded economic, political, social and cultural relations between NAR and Turkey as highly positive. NAR official expressed readiness to further develop such cooperation.
Fikret Karaman highly appraised the actions taken in Nakhchivna in a view of Prophet Mohammeds birthday. He said also Nakhchivan creates all necessary conditions for Moslems.
In the meeting was also partaking Ismail Safa Yuzeer, Turkish consul to Nakhchivan.
