Holding European Games is a good exercise for holding the Olympic Games and if Azerbaijan hosts Olympic Games, this experience will be very helpful, Slovenian swimming team coach Oliver Mumalo told Trend.
He said that he is very impressed with the organization of the first European Games. "Everything is smooth and on a high level," the coach said. "My expectations were not so high. I didn't think it would be on such a high level."
He went on to add that Baku has a very modern Water Sports Palace.
"If there is some world championship or anything like that in Baku, I will be very happy to be here again," the coach said.
The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and will last till June 28. There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe came to Baku to represent their nations over 17 days of competition. Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
