Sports Max TV channel broadcasts brilliant closing ceremony of first European Games in Baku

The first European Games in Baku have ended with a brilliant closing ceremony held at the National Olympic Stadium, an article posted on the website of Sports Max TV channel said.
The spectators of the closing ceremony of the European Games enjoyed fireworks and performances by such stars as Clean Bandit, John Newman and Gareth Emery, the article said.
The games held in Baku will be the basis for all further European Games, Patrick Hickey, the president of the European Olympic Committee, was quoted as saying.
"I tell the European Olympic family and our friends worldwide with full confidence that Azerbaijan, the European Games, great athletes of Europe have bright future," Hickey said.
The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and ended June 28. There was a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe represented their nations over 17 days of competition.
