The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee transferred 1.001.37 billion manat in customs duties and taxes to the state budget in January-August 2014, which makes up 65.9 percent of the annual forecast, the committee said on Sept. 8.
The deductions increased 12.8 percent compared to the same period of 2013.
The revenues from customs duties in January-August totaled 275.84 million manat, the value added tax of imported goods - 677.08 million manat, excise tax - 37.73 million manat, road tax - 10.72 million manat, according to the report.
The forecast of deductions through the State Customs Committee for 2014 was set in the amount of 1.52 billion manat.
The official exchange rate is 0.7843 AZN/USD as of Sept. 8.
