Azerkimya Production Association (chemical industry enterprise) of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) in January-September exported 171,500 tons of oil and chemical products, a source in the production association told Trend Oct.30.
The source said that for the first three quarters of 2015, Azerkimya produced goods worth 112.29 million manats.
"The most part of the exported products fell on the high-density polyethylene (63,000 tons), light pyrolysis resin (47,000 tons) and propylene (32,000 tons)," said the source. "Also, 23,000 tons of butene, 6,000 tons of isopropyl alcohol and 0,500 tons of isopropyl ether were exported for the first three quarters of 2015."
Azerkimya production association is a part of SOCAR. The structure of the production association is comprised of the following plants: "Ethylene-Polyethylene", surfactant species, "Organic Synthesis", mechanical repair; Institute "Kimyaelmitedgigatlayihe", repair and construction management, management of transport and special equipment, and warehousing.
