The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to support Azerbaijan's financial sector improvement.
This was announced at the meeting of members of the board of directors of Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body with the ADB delegation headed by the bank's Executive Director Mathew Fox, Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body said in a message June 13.
The ADB executive director at the meeting stated about support for important steps taken to ensure stability of Azerbaijan's financial sector and the recently implemented reforms.
Cooperation framework of Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body with the ADB was discussed at the meeting.
Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body was created by the decree of the country's president dated February 3, 2016 in order to ensure stability of financial sector and improve oversight mechanisms in this area.
